Mohamed Drisi is an American artist, born in Teruan, Morocco. He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Chicago. He has also studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid, Spain.
Mohamed has been creating fine portraits for more tha 50 years and is best known for being commissioned to do the official portrait of HSH Princess Grace de Monaco in 1958.
Mohamed Drisi's beautiful paintings have adorned the walls of many prestigious locations; among them include the Quincy Art Museum in Quincy, Illinois; The United States Treasury in Washington, D.C.; The Options Exchange in Chicago, Illinois; and the Throne Room of the Principality of Monaco.
Mr. Drisi is the founder of the Drisi Studio of Fine Art and co-founder of the Professional Artists Alliance. He is the president of The Municipal Art League of Chicago, one of the founders of Oil Painters of America, and a member of both the Allied Artists of America and the Chicago Society of Artists.
